Seeking Knowledge

To understand ghosts, one must understand death. But to fully understand death, one must die. This is problematic for the ghost hunter. There are many directions one may go when trying to understand the inner workings of the universe. Space stretches infinitely out, while microscopic study of nuclei and beyond falls infinitely smaller. Nearly all space, outer and inner, is unknown and unmapped by us. Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in these mysterious regions. Two other hiding places we must search are time and other dimensions. One day, perhaps, science will be up to the task. Until then, we ghost hunters must persevere and collect the evidence of ghosts. Let the physicists decide how it is they exist.

  2. Thank you, Dr Starlight, for your continual endeavouring to map the terrain of paranormal phenomena in general & the ghost question in particular. Remember, too, that shamanism, a practice long revered in indigenous cultures, although at times a tad precarious (ie. the resorting to the imbibing of certain ethnobotanicals, particularly Ayahuasca, a name that means "the vine of the soul"), has sought to achieve exactly that which you surmise in this latest post of yours.

    For continuing success to you in your research,
    Anadæ Effro ( :-)}

  3. I am in total agreement. I think we're extremely limited as ghost hunters using tools others have tried and not found effective like EMF. I'm ready to put my meter away because there are too many variables for it to be accurate. I do hope, however, that we find just where it is that time and space and dimensions "rub up" against each other. That's the moment when we hear or see something, a moment of knowing. It's so fleeting and so random...I hope some day physicists do figure out how to punch into it. I think that's where our ghosts lie.
