Of Theatres and Ghosts

Excerpt from the Starlight Letters: Most houses are not haunted. The same is true for schools, police stations, libraries and other civic buildings. But if you visit just about any theatre in any country that is at least 75 years old, you'll hear a ghost story. Why is this? I think I have an answer: Life Bait. Life Bait is essentially an attractant for life and theatres put out a lot of it. First, theatres generally host a number of plays each year that have been performed for decades or centuries. This means they are familiar to a spirit from the past. Second, there is a lot of emotional energy in a theatre, either inherent in the play itself or from the butterflies felt by the performers before they go on stage. I believe all of this attracts and holds spirits to theatres : Life Bait.
